Founder and Clinical Director · Jungian Analyst · Psychotherapist · Supervisor · Private Advisor

My work has developed through worlds that rarely meet.

Depth psychology and Jungian analysis. Clinical work with complex human behaviour. Leadership and organisational life. And an earlier formation within contemplative and spiritual traditions.

What connects them is a lifelong interest in what happens when human beings reach the limits of the identity that has carried them thus far—and in the threshold where achievement must become meaning, mastery must become stewardship, and knowledge must deepen into wisdom.

I work with the person upon whom the decision depends.

As co-founder and Clinical Director of The Surrey Centre for Eating Disorders, Addictions and Compulsive Behaviours, I have worked extensively with complexity, crisis, change and the ways accomplished people can become divided from the deeper currents of their lives.

Northstar is distinct from psychotherapy, executive coaching and business consultancy. It is private counsel for a small number of founders, leaders and others carrying consequential responsibility when familiar categories no longer describe what is required.

I do not manage wealth, advise on investments or tell clients how to run their companies. I provide a confidential, independent place in which the question beneath the decision can become visible.
